It has no way to react quickly enough when cpu goes randomly to 4.1ghz. The reason for that is that the cpu fan is working in idle mode (2100revs). However temps quickly go to 90C in normal office work. This makes working with the system a bit smoother. The problem with turbo boost is that when doing normal office work, the cpu jumps randomly to 4.1ghz!!!. I did not notice huge drop in performance during gaming. I have also disabled turbo boost from bios. When heavy gaming 65C both cpu and gpu (cooler boost on), however cpu is undervolted to-165mv directly from bios. May I ask what are Your idle temps, is your cpu undervolted? Mine is 40-45C when browsing, youtube running. The win32 likes to keep cpu at full speed most of the time and therefore increasing cpu idle temps. I wonder how the new DC behaves with cpu clocks. And I agree the win32 DC crashes periodically, so it has to be manually restarted. down from default 2800 revs which makes the laptop virtually silent. Many thanks for sharing, I do have all the bios and firmware filles installed already, perhaps I received it from You, although at that time It was a top secret bios and firmware and I was not suppose to share with any one The battery master works great with my battery replacement, plus, the cpu fan in idle is 2100 revs.
